Winemaker notes:

The nose displays notes of freshly cut green apples and pears, with a hint of lime and kiwi in the background. The mouth shows remarkable minerality with natural aidity that contributes to a crisp and bright finish. This wine is a tribute to Chablis.

Vineyard notes:

The Oppenlander Vineyard is managed by fifth generation farmers, and is located in the cool climate of a town of Comptche, just 12 miles from the Pacific Ocean. It is one of only four vineyards planted in this fascinating area that is ideal for producing Chardonnay with high acidity and a crisp finish, similar to northern Burgundy.
